Role Overview

As the Talent acquisition specialist your key objective is to deliver best practice recruitment nationally for the Global business. You will assist the recruitment and talent acquisition manager in identifying current and future hiring needs, advertising job-openings, candidate assessment and assist hiring managers with the full-cycle recruitment process.

Responsibilities

Skills / Experience

  • Collaborate with the hiring managers and HRM’s to complete a job brief and determine attraction strategies/ plans to attract highest quality candidates
  • Execute strategies through a range of channels including ATS, job boards, social networks, talent pools, assessment centres, referral, and targeted partnerships
  • Screen resumes and applications and identify shortlist candidates as required
  • Ensure candidates, hiring managers and HRMs are engaged
  • and informed throughout the hiring process
  • Complete phone screening and face to face interviews as required
  • Conduct or assist with assessment centres as required
  • Complete necessary checks and screening in support of the recruitment process including reference checks, police checks, pre-employment medical and VIVO checks as required
  • Offer the successful candidate the position and close off the position in the ATS
  • Complete reporting requirements on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Database maintenance and administrative tasks
  • Assist in developing and maintaining candidate talent pools to ensure we maintain a course of qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
  • Prepare and refine the internal careers email, intranet presence and induction portal

Candidate Profile

  • Solid understanding of full cycle recruiting
  • Excellent stakeholder management and candidate care skills
  • Excellent knowledge of ATS, sourcing strategies and recruitment marketing tools
  • High degree of discretion and personal integrity
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Strong influencer stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and effectively influence all people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tenacity, self-motivated and results oriented
