Role Overview

As the Customer Service Officer, you will be reporting to the Transactional Services Manager. You will be responsible for all first point of contact queries with a varied customer base in New Zealand.

A typical day for the Customer Service Officer will see you providing an exceptional level of customer service via phone and email and liaising internally with multiple departments including warehousing, purchasing and logistics. This role will give you the opportunity to build critical long-lasting business relationships acting as a brand ambassador for this business.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers in relation to general enquiries and delivery or dispatch questions.
  • Providing an exceptional level of customer service across all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Processing and populating invoices.
  • Processing claims and incorrect products with the third-party warehouse.
  • Sending outbound reports to the warehouse to organise distribution
  • Overseeing warehouse deliveries and meet regularly with key personnel
  • Managing transportation quotes
  • Liaising with purchasing and shipping on stock availability
  • Manage invoice and credit notes

Candidate Profile

You have or are currently working in a similar Customer Service role. You have impeccable communication skills, and your work is of the highest standard. You use your initiative to continually seek answers and follow up with key stakeholders regarding information required to manage customer queries. You professional and maintain a polite phone manner and have the confidence to liaise with all levels across the business.

The successful candidate will present with a minimum of 12 months proven experience within a customer service position and will thrive working in a busy and layered role. You will enjoy working in a collaborative and transparent team and possess outstanding communication skills on both a verbal and written level.

This role will be managing their critical New Zealand clients and will therefore require working hours of 6am – 2pm.
